Eguisheim, the heart of the Alsatian Vineyard

Eguisheim is a medieval village, recognized for centuries for its vineyard ; and its exceptional colorful houses(promoted most beautiful village flowered of Europe in 2006 and “village préféré des français” in 2013).

Eguisheim is located in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards with traditional houses in a circle around its castle.

Eguisheim has an “Art de vivre” with its savory gastronomy and its famous wines (with the Grands Crus of Alsace Eichberg and Pfersigberg) which make Eguisheim an idyllic Alsatian condensation.

Eguisheim, the birthplace of the Alsatian vineyard and is located on the Alsace wine route, 5 km from Colmar, the oldest town in Alsace.

The Alsace Wine Road

A unique route in France crosses the Alsatian vineyards from north to south on 170 km (Marlenheim to Thann).

It is about 70 wine villages, known to be the most beautiful villages of Alsace like Eguisheim, Colmar, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Turckheil.... Or Ribeauvillé

From April to October, the villages organize wine festivals and harvest.
